Google Hangout for my class?

 I have been taking several technology courses and I had one that I wanted to reflect on, the use of google hangout. I originally found this tool a little overwhelming because I could not connect myself. Then, we had some connection problems and lastly we didn’t save the hangout, which was part of the assignment. However, despite of the problems we faced, which were more about the lack of practice or first time using the app, I believe there are many good ways to use this in a classroom or even as an individual.

In a classroom I believe that it could help a lot to create videos for a flipped classroom, which will later be posted on youtube. Students will have a fast access to it. Another thing that I see as an application, is having several teachers create a lesson plan, but those teachers could be in different places in the world. Therefore, we would be flattening our classrooms with the use of this tool. I am sure that there are many other options, so why don’t you give it a try and see what it can do for you.
